The
profile of our work can be described as architecture with a
strong planning emphasis.
The range of projects is wide with a distinct orientation towards
conversion and restoration of old and interesting buildings.
Several specialisations
have emerged during the life of the practice. Economic
development is essential in this upland community to which
Peter and Sonia make
both a professional and voluntary commitment. Tourism
is developing as a major
element in the local economy, and we are involved in a
wide range of tourism
projects from farm diversification to visitor attractions

Community
projects are another significant part of our portfolio.
These are driven
by various lottery funds; arts, sports and the community
fund itself. We are currently instructed on three community
buildings, each costing £300,000

Finally, one of the most
exciting avenues that has been opening-up since the
mid-'90s, is work concerning listed buildings and scheduled
monuments. These are
redevelopment projects, straightforward conservation,
or a mixture of both. We
are fortunate to include three castles and several other
fine buildings and
monuments in our portfolio.
