Countryside Consultants was formed in 1983 to provide both planning and architectural professional
skills within one office in the rural environment. The combined disciplines are becoming evermore
relevant in rural development and our practice now enjoys an established reputation with
authorities and agencie across the North of England.

The central ethos of our practice is to help to develop the countryside as a thriving, living and
working environment whilst taking care to conserve the essential elements, which give the
countryside its unique character. We firmly believe that conservation and development go hand in
hand and that this is the way forward for a secure future for rural areas.
